Whether you are a carnivore or hardcore vegan, remember that eating clean is the way to go. That means stay away from processed foods and things you can't pronounce. Eat foods closest to their natural state, preferably fresh or frozen and those in season. When cooking, minimize your steps, and cook veggies just long enough for them to stay crisp so they hold their nutritional value. Also, wean yourself off of soft drinks. I used to be in love with Dr. Pepper & then Diet Dr. Pepper. Seriously, sugar is the devil! Stay away! Sugar substitutes are even worse for you. Start today & by next week you may be able to get rid of that habit. After I got completely off of soft drinks, I thought I'd treat myself one day for all of my hard work, so I bought a Diet DP. BLECK!! It wasn't the wonderful thing I remembered it to be. Why? Because my body wanted only good things & rejected this for what it was--junk!
