So, by popular demand, here is one of my favorite simple recipes! I made this up one morning when looking in the fridge and pantry for something healthy for my husband to take to work.
1 bag steamable green beans (fresh works well too!)
1 tbsp Sambal Olek (found in Asian section)
1 tsp minced garlic
Braggs liquid aminos or low sodium soy sauce to taste
1tbsp coconut oil or olive oil
Steam green beans in microwave according to package directions. Heat coconut oil on medium in saute’ pan, add garlic and cook for a minute, stirring constantly. Add green beans, sambal olek, stirring well for 1-2 minutes. Turn off heat and add liquid aminos or soy sauce to taste, stirring well. Serves 2.
